PLEASE NOTE: You will now be asked to add a credit card during the registration process if you do not already have one on file. This is only to validate your identity. Your card will not be charged unless you fail to pick up your items on the designated pickup day.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- A 10% Buyers Premium will be added to the winning bid to determine the final selling price.
- All items are sold “as is, where is”, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Every effort is made to present complete and accurate descriptions, sizes, colors, use, etc. however we cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information. Inspection of property before bidding/buying is strongly encouraged. Failure to inspect the items prior to bidding/buying in no way relieves the buyer from the obligation to pay for and pick up items. All sales are final at the close of bidding on each lot. Please inspect items thoroughly before purchasing.
- Full payment will be due at pick-up by cash, personal or certified check, or credit/debit card. A 3.5% convenience fee will be added to the final total for credit card purchases.
- 6% Kentucky sales and use tax will be added to the total on every invoice unless a valid Sales Tax Exemption Certificate is on file with the auctioneer. If you do not already have a sales exempt certificate on file with us, please reach out to our auction team at auctions@haleyauctionsandrealty.com for details or you may complete an exempt certificate when you pick up your items. Please be sure to bring your farm or resale exemption number with you.
- Failure to pick up your purchase within the designated hours may result in your purchase being declared abandoned and returned to the seller or re-sold to the back-up bidder. Also, you may be barred from bidding on future auctions unless you have paid for your purchase on time and made specific arrangements with the auction company. Kentucky Auction Law (KRS 330) states that a legally binding contract is formed when the auction item is declared sold by the auctioneer. Therefore, you are required to pay for it, even if you decide not to pick it up.
- Items in this auction are offered 'online only' using an automatic extended bidding format. Bidding ends at 6PM, however, any bid received within 5 minutes of the scheduled closing time for that lot will extend the bidding for an additional 5 minutes. This process can repeat multiple times.
- Successful buyers should bring their own packing materials and load out help if needed. No load out labor is provided.
